Virginia Streit is an experienced marketing professional in Melbourne who specialises in digital communications and bringing smiles to the faces of her clients.
Her love of story-telling started in early childhood, eventually leading her to complete a Bachelor of Communications degree, majoring in Multimedia. It was during these years, just as the Dot Com boom was reaching its peak, that her passion for technology was truly ignited: securing a website of her own, Virginia began toying with code and content creation in her spare time.
Over the course of her career Virginia has worked across a variety of industries, such as renewable energy, electronics and semiconductors, and fashion retail, accumulating experience in both business-facing and consumer-facing communications strategies.
Virginia’s expertise in search engine marketing (SEM), website and social media content creation and direct marketing techniques have helped her clients expand their brand reach, target key audiences and hit their sales goals. In addition to digital marketing, Virginia also has many years’ experience in events management, running PR campaigns, writing press releases, case studies and editorial pieces, and developing business marketing toolkits and templates.
Virginia is fascinated by the endless possibilities of technology and is always seeking out the latest in tech innovations, broadening her knowledge of futurist theories and developing an deeper understanding of online identity and culture. In her spare time, Virginia loves to explore Melbourne on her bike, seeking out the best coffee, bike trails and dumplings the city has to offer. She is an avid photographer and keeps a personal photoblog of her adventures at home and overseas.
