Microhire is the largest Australian owned corporate event staging company specialising in audiovisual and event staging. For nearly 30 years they have fostered a culture of innovation that’s present in everything they do from their customer service to the inspiring results they achieve with their amazing events.
Bright Owl Marketing were delighted to assist Microhire by creating a marketing plan with a 12 month action plan which included various digital marketing, print, event and offline initiatives. The key focus area was to link business development and marketing so they could work hand in hand with each other.
Bright Owl Marketing first organised an interactive workshop with senior stakeholders in the business to understand their customer segments, their pain points, and why they engage Microhire over and above their competitors. We also undertook a detailed brand positioning analysis and were able to clearly clarify and define Microhire’s key capabilities and positioning as the industry experts in Audio Vidual event delivery.
Our focus was also to help grow the warm lead pre-sale customer database and help grow the Microhire business targeting bigger and more repeat business clients.

Microhire originally got in touch with our Marketing Agency because they were lacking an overall vision and a strategic approach to marketing. There was no dedicated marketing resource for the sizeable business and with so many different business units, the quality of marketing outputs were not aligning with the sales funnels process or service capabilities. There was also no understanding of it key point of different/unique selling proposition and no unified key message that could be applied across all touch points. They also had difficulty translating their technical information into benefit driven packages that resonate and compels customers to find out more.

We worked on four major proposals, often over 40 pages in length, which converted in two major clients for the Microhire team, each worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. This was supporting with engagement PowerPoint Presentations and sound marketing advice to help support the sales team in future client pitches.
