Rely Services is based North of Melbourne and provide professional culinary technology and consulting advice to restaurants and professional kitchens. They only offer the best kitchen technology equipment from around the world, allowing clients to execute simple and effective ideas consistently without the need of a larger team.
Our Approach
After meeting with a Bright Owl Marketing Consultant we sat down and created a detailed website brief that outlined every desired aspect to help merge these two sites together into a seamless user experience for the customer.
The first step was to completely redesign and develop a new, premium website that would best reflect the quality products and consulting services offered by Rely. We did this using WordPress and WooCommerce, which also allowed additional functionality to sell products online, but some high-end products required a quote mechanism as part of the sales process. Bright Owl then mapped out the site map and customer engagement journeys to help the client understand and visualise every aspect of the web development process. Landing pages also had to feature product images and user videos, technical specifications, servicing and repairs information, and relevant product recipes. The buying process had to be intuitive and seamless, which meant that we created a product weight matrix in WooCommerce, so the system could calculate the exact postage for any product to be delivered throughout Australia. On completion, an SEO migration was performed, which after going successfully, developed into an on-page optimisation strategy, completed with met-tags and descriptions across 70 pages.

The Challenge
Bright Owl Marketing was referred to Rely Services based on their Hospitality and restaurant experience in being digital marketing experts. Bright Owl Marketing was engaged to help build their new website. They were previously running a WordPress website for their consulting service, and Shopify to sell their kitchen products. It was our job to merge these sites together into one professional site that could be used as an information source and transactional for product purchases.
The Results
Since the website was developed, Rely Services presence in Google Search has jumped dramatically. Organic traffic increased 48% and leads from organic 164%. Rely Services soon expanded to social media, Google Adwords and email marketing, as a fully integrated multi-channel Digital Marketing Strategy.
